The Missing Piece will eventually be a place of refuge and solace for bereaved grandparents -- those of us who have suffered the double loss of a grandchild who has died and our own children who are forever changed because of their loss. I plan to make this a place where we can mourn our grandchildren, memorialize them, and comfort each other as we walk this path none of us chose. Our format will be for the most part uncensored, within the bounds of reason -- no foul language, for instance -- and the terms of our web hosting service.

I will build the site as I have opportunity, between working full time and managing two other web sites that take priority. If you are a bereaved grandparent and would like to post a memorial to your missing piece email me -- I'd love to help you. If you just need to talk I'll listen, and share a few tears with you.
